Stacey Bray
Director
I began my career at CPMR in 1988 as an apprentice and have since worked my way up to director. My responsibilities include overseeing the business, ensuring high-quality customer service, and upholding our core company values which I take immense pride in. With expertise in all areas of control gear and pumps, I’m dedicated to providing hands-on, reliable solutions for our customers. Outside of work, I love weekend adventures with my wife and our dogs or being out on the water sailing.
Kerry-Leigh Watkinson
Branch Manager
I am the Branch Manager, My Role includes managing the day-to-day operations, overseeing company finances, staffing, and health and safety protocols. I Joined CPMR in 2019 initially in the Plymouth Branch as the Office Manager before transferring across to the St Austell branch in 2020 and taking on my current role. Prior to joining CPMR I Worked Primarily in the healthcare sector. I previously served in the Royal Navy for five years as a Medic. Alongside my job I volunteer for the RNRM Swimming Club as a Swimmark Coordinator, and I am also the Branch Chair for SSAFA Plymouth The Armed Forces Charity.
Richard Allen
Mechanical Engineer
Since joining CPMR in 1999, I’ve specialised in 2K spray painting, DC motors, skimming, and undercutting. My background includes car body work and reconditioning mill agitators, giving me a solid foundation in both precision and industrial machinery. Outside of work, I’m a Formula 1 enthusiast, enjoy restoring classic cars, and love exploring Cornwall’s coastline through photography and coastal walks.
Peter Rowe
Quotation & Sales Administrator
I started as a Store Person in 2006 responsible for sales, stock control, order processing, and logistics. In 2008, my duties expanded to managing engineers, coordinating workshop repairs, customer service, and providing branch support. In 2009, I transitioned to quoting repairs and procuring parts for engineers, and began working part-time from home in 2022. Previously, I worked with the Council of the Isles of Scilly, initially covering holiday and sickness relief for the water department before becoming Head of Department in 2002. My responsibilities included maintaining water supply, overseeing chemical and UV disinfection, conducting water quality tests, managing pump maintenance, and operating a seawater desalination plant.
Jonathan Harris
Mechanical Engineer
I started with CPMR in 2021, where my main role is assessing and repairing motors. I specialise in pool pump repairs and keep the workshop running smoothly. Before joining CPMR, I worked in construction and maintenance, which has given me a strong technical foundation. I’m great with our customers and always enjoy meeting new people. Outside of work, I love being an active and fun dad, watching football, and going camping.
Richard Wellington
Mechanical Engineer & Motor Rewinder
I’ve been with CPMR since 1985, working as an AC/DC electric motor rewinder and mechanical engineer. My specialty is rewinding stators, a skill I’ve mastered over the past 39 years. I came to CPMR at the age of 17 with no prior experience and have gained all my knowledge on the job. There’s very little I don’t know about stators or motors after nearly four decades in the field. Outside of work, I enjoy coastal walks with my dog and spending quality time with my family on days out.
Lucy Bray
Operations & Sustainability Coordinator
I joined the team in May 2024, having worked previously with CPMR during university breaks. With a degree in Earth and Ocean Science, I bring comprehensive knowledge of environmental science and sustainability to my role. My day-to-day responsibilities include: overseeing the efficiency of our operations, front of house service and implementing and managing sustainable practices. Being the third generation of my family to be involved in the business, I take great pride in upholding our values and contributing to our growth and success. Outside of work, I love sport, music, and the outdoors. Whether it’s festivals, playing sports, or exploring new places, I’m always looking for ways to stay active and inspired.

Established in 1982, CPMR has built a reputation for exceptional service and expertise in pump and motor repairs, servicing, and sales. 1982
Cornwall Pump and Motor Rewinds is founded, starting as a small, family-run business specializing in motor rewinds and repairs.
1995
Opened a new workshop facility to accommodate growing demand and invested in advanced diagnostic and testing equipment.
2015
Introduced a new range of energy-efficient motor and pump solutions to support sustainable practices.
2022
